Mango Wood Wardrobes

A wardrobe earns its place through daily use. It needs room for the clothes you wear, a layout that makes sense and a finish you enjoy living with. Kayu Home's mango wood wardrobes bring those considerations together, with natural timber, thoughtful storage and distinct designs for different bedrooms.

Our Wardrobes & Armoires collection includes pieces with carved surfaces, woven cane and textured wood finishes. Whether you prefer a quieter, rustic look or more decorative detail, there is plenty to consider. Start with the storage you need, then choose the piece that feels right for your room.

Mango Wood Bedroom Furniture with Character

Sri Mango Wood Wardrobe

Wood brings warmth to a bedroom, particularly where larger pieces occupy much of the wall space. Mango wood's grain gives these wardrobes their individual character, while the different finishes and construction details create quite different effects.

In the Sri wardrobe, a sandblasted surface brings out the grain and texture. Vivan takes a more structured approach, with grooves carved into its doors and drawers. Kanz combines solid mango wood with woven cane panels, giving the doors a lighter visual presence. These are details worth looking at closely when choosing a substantial piece of furniture.

Mango wood bedroom furniture works comfortably alongside linen bedding, painted walls and other natural materials. There is no need to match every timber in the room. A wardrobe can sit well with an existing chest or bedside table when their proportions, colours and finishes feel comfortable together.

For a restrained scheme, keep surrounding furniture simple and let the wood provide the interest. In a room with patterned textiles or older furniture, consider how the wardrobe's texture will sit within the whole.

Vivan Grooved Wardrobe

Find the Right Wardrobe for Your Bedroom

The Sri Mango Wood Wardrobe has a natural, rustic appearance, with carved legs and a sandblasted finish. Handmade using traditional woodworking methods, it offers a combination of drawers, shelves and hanging rails, including an adjustable shelf. That flexibility is useful when your storage needs extend beyond shirts and jackets. Folded knitwear, smaller accessories and hanging clothes can each have their place. Sri measures 110cm wide, 195cm high and 58cm deep, making it the widest and tallest of these three designs.

For more pronounced surface detail, consider the Vivan Grooved Wardrobe. Its individually carved grooves run across the doors and drawers, framed by smoother outer woodwork. Behind the double doors is a wooden hanging rail spanning the width, with a removable lower shelf. Two drawers beneath provide separate space for folded clothing and accessories. At 93cm wide, 190cm high and 60cm deep, Vivan is the narrowest of the three. Its mix of hanging space and drawers makes it worth considering where one wardrobe needs to handle several storage jobs.

The Kanz Mango Wood Wardrobe pairs solid mango wood with six woven cane panels and antiqued brass hardware. Inside are a hanging rail and two shelves, one removable to make room for longer garments. Measuring 100cm wide, 190cm high and 58cm deep, it sits between Sri and Vivan in width. The cane introduces another natural texture, particularly suited to bedrooms with relaxed fabrics and a warm palette.

Kanz also has a specific material story: its mango timber comes from trees that have finished bearing fruit. This gives useful furniture timber a further purpose, with the grain retained as part of the finished piece.

Practical Storage for Everyday Use

Before choosing wooden wardrobes, take a realistic look at what you need to store. Longer dresses and coats need clear hanging height. Shirts, trousers and folded garments call for a different balance of rails, shelves and drawers. The interior arrangement deserves as much attention as the doors.

It can help to measure a wardrobe you already use and note where it falls short. Perhaps the rail is crowded, or folded clothes take up too much shelf space. Those frustrations give you a practical starting point when comparing layouts, especially if you are furnishing a main bedroom shared by two people with different routines.

Measure the available wall space, then allow room for doors and drawers to open comfortably. Check the route through your home too, including doorways, stairs and tight turns. A wardrobe should leave enough space to move around the bed without making the room feel crowded.

Care is straightforward. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and follow the individual product guidance when cleaning. Avoid excess water, abrasive cleaners, strong sunlight and extremes of heat or humidity.
