We work mainly with elm, teak, poplar and pine, all sourced from reclaimed wood with a clear, traceable past. Old beams and joists are dried, cut and constructed using traditional joinery. Mortise and tenon joints and dovetail details create solid frames designed and built for daily use.

Every wood reclaimed bench we offer has a rich, natural patina, as nail holes, grain shifts and subtle surface texture are part of the material. These are not faults and instead they show the authenticity of reclaimed wood and the care taken to repurpose it.

Our carpenters are highly skilled and have expertise in working with reclaimed materials. This means slight colour variations from plank to plank, shaped by age and exposure. Over time, the surface settles further, developing a deeper tone through regular use. A reclaimed bench made in this way offers a stylish and unique option for kitchens, hallways or living areas.
