Kiaan Reclaimed Wooden Pot
These old wooden pots were once used in India to store foodstuffs such as milk and honey, but have been reclaimed and given a new, dark antique wood stain to bring out their rich character. The curvaceous urn shapes were originally carved by hand, sanded and smoothed into shape. Because each pot is reclaimed, they vary slightly in terms of the dimensions and designs. Their vintage, used nature adds a special interest and a connection with the past. We love the idea of the pots previously being used in a household to store precious commodities.
Note that the reclaimed nature of these pieces means there are natural imperfections and each one has a weathered finish. As a result no two are the same.
To care for this item, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as this may damage the finish. Indoor and decorative use only.
