Instead of buying new pieces made from precious resources, choosing furniture made from reclaimed timber offers a wonderful way to help safeguard the environment. The wood used to make our reclaimed furniture is sourced from timbers which have been salvaged from disused buildings.
Joists, old beams, and struts are dried and cut to size, ready to be repurposed by skilled carpenters who repurpose them into benches, tables, chairs and other beautiful items. The carpenters we work with use a wide range of reclaimed timbers, including teak, pine, elm and poplar. Each has its own unique appearance, qualities and character, providing you with a collection of wonderful pieces for your home and garden.
Most of our newly made furniture is produced exclusively for us and imported directly to the UK from small workshops and ateliers across Asia. We enjoy a close and productive relationship with our furniture suppliers, and each item is carefully produced using traditional joinery techniques and craftsmanship. All items are made by hand, and many pieces are produced by a single carpenter who works on the item from start to finish.
