A bit about the materials being used.

The leather used in this item is handmade and is a by product from goats, herded and farmed by local herdsmen. Vegetable extract and tree bark are used to dye the leather and helps create a colour which will enrich with time.

The sustainable mango wood pieces are made from the mango trees. Initially grown for their fruit, the trees are harvested over a number of years. When the trees stop producing fruit, they are then cut down to make wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees which provides farmers with a supplementary income.
